Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 Cup Quick-Cooking Oats
- 1/2 Cup Onion, Chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 Pound Lean Ground Beef
- 1/4 teaspoon Sage
- 1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard
- Pepper to Taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 2/3 Cup Ketchup
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Yellow Mustard
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- In a bowl, beat the egg and milk
- Stir in cheese, oats, onion, salt, sage, dry mustard, pepper, and garlic salt
- Add beef and mix well
- Shape into eight loaves and place in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish
- Combine ketchup, brown sugar, and yellow mustard; spoon over loaves
- Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes or until no longer pink
