Pickled Red Beet

Ingredients

  • 1-3/4 Cups Sugar
  • 1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

Directions

  • Mix the sugar and vinegar together in a pan
  • Add enough beets so that they are covered
  • Boil for 5 minutes
  • Put warm beets and juice in a jar and top with salt
  • Place sterilized lids on to jar and secure with ring
  • Process for 10 minutes in a boiling water bath
