Hot Dogs Burnt Ends

Ingredients

  • 1 Package (8) Pure Beef Hot Dogs
  • 1 Package (8) Cheddar Sausages
  • Yellow Mustard
  • Stubbs BBQ Seasoning
  • Mesquite Wood
  • Light Brown Sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Pounds Bacon
  • Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce

Directions

  • Cut hot dogs and sausages into pieces
  • Coat with yellow mustard, not heavy, just a light coating
  • Then sprinkle with Stubbs BBQ seasoning
  • Put the dogs in an aluminum pan and smoke over mesquite wood for 1 1/2 to 2 hours at approx 225 degrees
  • Remove from smoker and sprinkle with light brown sugar
  • Cut up butter and put the butter in the pan with the dogs
  • Cook 1/2 pound of bacon but stop before it gets crispy
  • Cut up bacon into small pieces and add to the pan 
  • Coat with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce (generously)
  • Cover with foil and bake in the oven at 300 degrees for 1 hour
  • Stir and serve
