Cranberry Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1 (24-ounce) Jar Chunky Applesauce
  • 1 (14-ounce) Jar Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cup Quick-Cooking Oats
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup Butter, cut into pats

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F
  • Spray an 8x8x2-inch pan with cooking spray
  • Combine applesauce, cranberry sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of flour, and lemon juice in a medium saucepan
  • Cook over medium heat, constantly stirring, until thickened and bubbly
  • Remove pan from heat and allow to cool
  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine quick oats, 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter pats
  • Use a pastry knife or fork to thoroughly blend until crumbly
  • Spread half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan
  • Pour the cranberry mixture over top of the oat mixture
  • Sprinkle with the remaining oat mixture
  • Bake for about 35 minutes or until golden brown. 
  • Serve warm alone or with vanilla ice cream
