Ingredients
- 1 Container Apple Butter
- 6-7 Large Croissants, split
- 8 Large Eggs
- 3 Cups Milk
- 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Cup Cold Butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Generously spread apple butter over the croissant bottoms; replace the tops.
- Cut each croissant into 3 pieces and place them into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
- Combine eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt in a large bowl.
- Pour over croissants and let stand for at least 30 minutes.
- Combine the flour, brown sugar, and salt in a small bowl.
- Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the top.
- Bake, uncovered, for 50 to 60 minutes.
- Serve warm and refrigerate leftovers.
